These stunning mantas or blankets are crafted by women weavers in a small village located on the shores of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
100% cotton and natural dyes.
The cotton is grown on the mountains around the lake, hand-spun and dyed with natural indigo. The women weavers strive to continue the age-old technique that has been passed down through many generations.
The elegant and subtile white stripes are made with white cotton using a Guatemalan ikat technique called jaspe.
Mantas make great blankets, bed throws and also picnic blankets.
It takes around 3 weeks to weave one manta wich will last forever.
