Back from Guatemala with so much to share

This month, we travelled to Guatemala to visit the artisans working on the production of our new homeware collection. We are happy to announce the Harvest collection is on its way and looking beautiful. Here is a a little teaser of what's coming up and some fresh news we would like to share with you.

The Harvest Collection in the making

Behind the Hill Harvest Collection in the making

This is the home of Paola, one of the many incredible women we collaborate with for the production of our homeware products.

The Harvest collection brings focus on our naturally tinted organic cottons. They grow into light pink, beige and terracotta shades (No dyes!). They are rare, difficult to find and incredibly beautiful. We also add touches of colours from plants like Indigo, Eucalyptus and Coffee Beans.

The collection will be launched in August 2019.

If you are interested to learn more about our textiles and production, we have very few available spots left on our artisans' workshops tour in October 2019. You can also already reserve your spot for 2020!

You'll get to travel to Guatemala with Maud - founder of Behind the Hill, and visit our artisans' workshops, discover organic naturally tinted cottons, learn about natural dyes, ancient weaving techniques, explore Antigua and the small villages around the lake Atitlan, and much more.

Fresh Works

This trip has also reinforced the existing and created new relationships with our local partners. The Behind The Hill team is growing and we are excited to present some of our newest collaborations.

Behind the Hill Maud and the weavers

This picture was taken with Maud Lerayer, Founder of Behind The Hill and some of the incredible women we collaborate with. They are now a total of 15 weavers working on our textile collections.

We are happy to announce that with the help of Hector and Olivia who joined on the trip to Guatemala this month, Behind The Hill is preparing a short film and a new blog with fresh content and insights.

Keep your eyes open!
